Finding employment locally

The Connecting to the Workplace programme is funded from the UKSPF, which is managed by Somerset Council, and delivered by SBA.

The project is intended to reach out to unemployed Somerset residents of all ages who, for whatever reason, illness, location long term unemployment or personal circumstances, may be finding it difficult to find work or may feel isolated and unable to move forward with their working lives. They may well be unaware of the huge variety of companies based in Somerset and scope of job and career opportunities that could be open to them with the right support and guidance.
