The Angel Cafe, Langport

We are delighted to have recently become the new operators of the Angel Café, Langport.
To us, this is more than a business. It’s a chance to create a real community hub –
a friendly place where everyone is welcome.

To begin with, we’ll offer a simple but quality light refreshments menu.  We will open 7 days a week, 9am–5pm run by staff and local volunteers.  We will also:

  • Continuing and supporting the running the food bank and dementia café
  • Refresh the space: new paint, furniture, and branding
  • Relaunch the café online and on increase its social media presence

What will we do?

We are creating more than just a cafe – we are building a space where:

  • Surplus food is transformed into tasty, nourishing dishes
  • Everyone is welcome – no matter your background or income
  • People come together to learn and connect
  • Local residents gain support, develop skills, and grow in confidence 

Above all, it’s a place filled with warmth and true community spirit
