SBA CIC secures NatWest partnership

SBA CIC is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with the NatWest Regional Partner Enterprise Initiative, securing vital support that will allow the SBA Start-Up Programme to continue running into 2025. This collaboration strengthens SBA’s ability to provide high-quality business start-up support to aspiring entrepreneurs, ensuring even more individuals have access to the guidance and resources they need to turn their ideas into successful ventures.

Through this partnership, SBA CIC can now widen participation beyond Somerset, offering fully funded start-up support to individuals across the South West. This expansion will enable more budding business owners to gain the skills, confidence, and practical know-how to launch and grow their enterprises, regardless of background or financial circumstances.

Working alongside NatWest’s Enterprise team, SBA CIC will highlight additional business resources, tools, and expertise into the programme. For example the NatWest’s Entrepreneur Accelerator and Business Builder platforms that provide valuable learning materials, financial insights, and mentoring opportunities, giving participants a well-rounded foundation for success. This partnership enhances SBA’s already effective programme with industry-leading guidance, networking opportunities, and access to expert business mentors.

SBA CIC’s now four-week start-up programme remains fully funded, ensuring accessibility for all. Now, with NatWest’s backing, participants will also benefit from enhanced learning opportunities and business connections that can accelerate their entrepreneurial journey.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in SBA’s continued commitment to enabling entrepreneurship and economic growth in the South West. Applications are now open, and those interested in launching their own business can learn more by visiting www.sbacommunities.org/sba-start-up or contacting sue@sbacic.org.

With continued support and new opportunities on the horizon, SBA CIC and NatWest are working together to empower the next generation of business leaders.
